Squeeze Page Secrets

I was reading Russell Brunson’s Dot Com Secrets magazine today and there’s a great article about creating squeeze pages. Every month Russell provides tons of great information in his Dot Com Secrets magazine and I highly recomend checking it out.

Kevin Hill, Russell’s full time copywriter, wrote the article about building a successful squeeze page. Kevin starts out explaining why it’s better to use a squeeze page instead of driving people directly to your sales page.

If you have a 3% conversion rate and drive 1000 people to your sales page, you’ll make 30 sales which seem pretty good. If you drive people to a good squeeze pageand give away a compelling free report or a great "how to" video, that same 3% will opt in to see what you’re offering and you can get another larger percentage to opt in to grab their free gift.

Instead of having 30 names of people that purchased your product directly from the sales page, you’ll end up with those 30 names plus another 30 to 200 names depending on your conversion rate. You’ll have over 200 names to market to instead of just 30.

Kevin gives a ton of tips and shows some great examples of successul landing pages in his article. He also walks you step by step through the process of building your own high-converting squeeze page.

You can check out Russell’s Dot Com Secrets magazine at no charge by signing up for his Free Wealth Building System at the Dot Com Secrets website. It’s a great training program where you get daily training videos delivered directly to your desktop every morning. Russell and his staff are always available to help you out if you have questions and they even have free training calls every Monday morning.

Check it out now!

Until next time,

Ted

Testing your headline can improve your conversion rate by 700%

Michal Fortin, master copywriter, says you can improve your conversion rate by over 700% by split-testing your headline. Copywriting is an art and the best copywriters spend countless hours split-testing their copy and headlines. They don’t just sit down and create one version of the copy. They create many versions of the copy and create multiple headlines and test,. test and test again.
