There’s a new WordPress plugin that will automatically upgrade your WordPress blog to the latest version. This plugin, WordPress Automatic Upgrade, by Keith D Souza and Ronalfy, completely automates your WordPress blog updates. No more downloading the latest WordPress version, unzipping the zip file, and uploading the files via FTP.
This plugin tells you there’s a new version of WordPress and walks you step by step through the upgrade process. The wizard backs up your current system files and downloads them to your computer, backs up your MySQL database and downloads the backup to your computer then downloads the new version of WordPress, unzips it and installs it. The only thing you have to do is click on the links that appear as each step completes. What a great plugin!
